"Protostar" captures a star being born. Its story-arc follows the evolution of a star from its collapsing clouds of gas and dust, through various chemical reactions, and ultimately into a fusion stage that emits light as a fully formed star. In reality this process takes hundreds of thousand if years to complete. However in this four minute animation I try to witness the beauty of this incremental process and gift to the audience a sense of wonder for all the stars in our universe.
